The 2017 Women’s World Football Games are heading to Orlando, Fla. in January as part of Pro Bowl Week.

The event, which the New Orleans Saints hosted in 2016, brings together female American football players from all over the world:

It’s a unique opportunity for women, who continue to become more involved in football at all levels of the sport.

"No matter what end of the globe you come from, we're all here together, speaking one universal language in between those lines,” said Kandice Mitchell, who plays for the Atlanta Phoenix in the Women’s Football Alliance, in addition to coaching high school football.

Mitchell was one of more than 200 women who took part in the Women's World Football Games last year.

This year, the event will also include an NFL Women’s Career Forum, which aims to educate and prepare women for football-specific roles with NFL teams.

The Women’s World Football Games are one of the many events taking place during Pro Bowl Week, which also includes the 2017 USA Football National Conference.
