A balanced effort powered the U.S. Under-18 Select Team to a 21-7 victory over Team Ontario in International Bowl VIII at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Head coach Vince DiGaetano’s squad was brilliant on defense—allowing negative-1 rushing yards—and opportunistic on offense to earn a hard-fought victory against Team Ontario.

He credited the effort to his staff of assistant coaches.

“The preparation throughout the week was key, and it really goes back to the coaches,” DiGaetano said. “The coaches did a tremendous job.”
