In an explosive matchup, the Under-15 Honor defeated the Under-15 Pride 41-29 in International Bowl VIII at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The game saw a running back for each team turn in a phenomenal performance.
In a losing effort, the Under-15 Pride’s Jake Langdon rushed 12 times for 225 yards and three total touchdowns. The ball carrier accounted for a game-high rush of 84 yards and a touchdown just before the midpoint of the second quarter. Langdon also added an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown near the end of the first half.
Nygel Moore put on a show for the Under-15 Honor. The back rushed 19 times for 107 yards and added three touchdowns on the ground.
Honor took an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter and would go up 35-22 at the half. Honor would keep their distance and secure a 12-point victory.
