The U.S. National Team Regional Development Camps hit the central region of the U.S. last weekend, with camps in Dallas and Milwaukee. Both stops saw an impressive field of talented athletes not only continuing their development but competing to earn an invitation to the National Development Games–the next step in the journey toward representing the U.S. in international competition. Here's the rundown of top performers from each camp:

Middle school Gold Ball winner:
Shunte Nettles, Jr., WR, 2022, Garland, Texas
Whenever a big play occurred over the weekend, Nettles seemed to be the middle school athlete making it. The Gold Ball winner was absolutely electric from whistle to whistle at the Dallas Regional Development Camp. Despite giving up a great deal of height and weight to many of his peers, the 115-pound Nettles was too quick to be stopped. The 2022 prospect ran crisp routes and showed the type of competitive juice that turned heads and had the camp buzzing.
Middle school top performers
Isaiah Broadway, RB, 2022, Dallas, Texas
Brennan Storer, QB, 2023, Dallas, Texas
Kameron Allen, TE, 2021, Forney, Texas
Xavier Le Jeune, DB, 2023, DeSoto, Texas
Apolo Toutai, DL, 2022, Euless, Texas
High school Gold Ball winner:
Jordan Davison, LB, 2018, Lancaster (Texas)
The camp setting is often not suited for linebackers to shine, but Davison did just that during the Dallas Regional Development Camp. The 6-foot, 200-pound native of Lancaster, Texas took home high school Gold Ball honors. With a bench press of 315 pounds and the ability to squat more than 500 pounds, Davison has the strength to play the physically demanding position of middle linebacker. A wrestler during the offseason, Davison never stops competing.

Middle school Gold Ball winner:
Raymone Jones, WR, 2021, Kenosha, Wis.
From the moment Jones stepped foot on campus at the Milwaukee Regional Development Camp, he looked like a next-level player. The chiseled 6-foot, 180-pound Jones caught everything thrown in his direction all weekend. When he wasn't burning defensive backs deep, he was muscling up and using his size to win 50/50 balls on intermediate routes. Coaches and evaluators alike were impressed with his body control and how he created a window for the quarterback to throw to. This is certainly not the last time you will hear about this 2021 prospect.
Middle school top performers
Gabe Seifert, QB, 2021, New Berlin, Wis.
Dylan Brown, DB, 2021, Mequon, Wis.
Aidan Barich, DB, 2021, Muskego, Wis.

Cole Walter, DL, 2021, New Glarus, Wis.
High school Gold Ball winner:
Jonathan Lee, TE, 2018, Pius XI High School (Milwaukee, Wis.)
Lee has great size for the tight end position (6-foot-3, 230 pounds) and at the Milwaukee RDC, showed that he's also rather skilled as well. The Pius XI (Milwaukee, Wis.) rising senior was an all-conference honorable mention selection as a junior. If his performance over the weekend is any indication of what's to come, he's poised for a breakout senior season.
