High school football players transferring schools for recruiting purposes seems to be on the rise, and one college coach took to Twitter to offer a piece of advice for those high school players thinking that changing schools might boost their recruitment.

Corey Bailey, the recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach at Coastal Carolina University and former head coach at Assumption College, tweeted a message to high school players on Saturday:

Random Rant..Transferring to get recruited based on the school you're at = crazy. Dominate where you are... we will find you! Show loyalty.

He urges high school players to stop transferring schools in hopes to increase their chances of being recruited. Bailey would rather players succeed where they're at, pointing out that college coaches will find talented recruits no matter which school they attend.

The tweet has gained some attention, with more than 400 retweets and 900 favorites,  from coaches and players alike.

Of course, there sometimes are completely legitimate reasons to transfer. One response to Bailey's tweet pointed to the possibility of players transferring to receive better coaching.

Overall, the message is clear: Though the system is not fool-proof, college coaches usually discover most potential recruits, regardless of which team they play for.
