Before last week, Kaedyn DesRuisseaux was a regular 6-year-old.

Now, the Connecticut boy is an internet superstar, after his highlights from an NFL FLAG game went viral, being picked up by Bleacher Report, ESPN, MaxPreps and others:

Kaedyn’s father Marc, who shared the video on social media, said that he’s been overwhelmed with the positive response to his son’s ankle-breaking highlights.

“Watching his play, I felt that it was special and could get him some type of exposure. But for his video to go viral and get national attention it just brings me tears of joy,” Marc told USA Football. “He loves the game of football and it is great to see all the positive feedback, truly a blessing.”

Kaedyn is in the midst of his first season of NFL FLAG, playing for the Falcons in the Stratford/Milford league in Connecticut, where he’s enjoyed his first introduction to football of any variety.

“It’s so fun,” Kaedyn said.

According to Marc, Kaedyn hopes to one day transition to playing tackle football. Don’t be surprised to see some more highly reel-worthy runs from him in the future when he progresses to 11-person football.
