A group of Thomasville High School (Thomasville, Ga.) football players were hanging out and enjoying their evening when something unexpected happened.

Willie Bradshaw, Tori Sapp, Jonny Young, and Kentarius Franklin were inside a house when they heard an unusual noise outside.

They witnessed a car accident and noticed a girl was trapped under the vehicle.

Without hesitation, they sprung into action.

"I was over by the car and there was a girl under the car so we just went over there and tried to get her out as quick as possible," said Bradshaw to the Tallahassee News.

With their adrenaline pumping, the four players were able to lift the car and free the girl.

“We picked it up and got her out of there,” Bradshaw said.

The Thomasville school board honored the players for their heroic actions.

They were praised at the meeting and were rewarded a certificate that recognizes “the qualities of courage and bravery that represents the ideal Thomasville Bulldog.”
