Alex Huston, quarterback for Glendale High School (Springfield, Missouri) had a record-setting Friday night against Park View.

During Friday's 69-58 win over the Vikings, all eyes were on the Falcons quarterback.

According to the National Federation of State High School Associations record book, Huston broke three national records according to MaxPreps.

He passed for 824 yards, breaking the previous record of 787 yards set in 2015 by then-sophomore Matt Miller from DuBois (Pennsylvania) Area Senior High School. Miller is currently in his senior year at DuBois and has thrown for 949 yards this season.

Huston’s second record of the night came after he had 70 completions during the game, breaking the previous record of 58 completions set in 2013 by Grant Sherman from Kenton (Ohio). Sherman is now playing at The University of St. Francis (Fort Wayne, Indiana).

Finally, Huston broke the record for most attempts. Huston had 88 attempts passing just breaking the previous record of 87, which was set in 2013 by Tyler Hutchinson from Greenville (Illinois).

This season, Huston is already off to an impressive start. Six games into the season, he has completed 247 of 349 passes for 2,843 passing yards with 37 touchdowns. He also has 285 rushing yards for one touchdown.

Looking at Huston's MaxPreps stats since playing varsity in 2015, he has played in 29 games, completed 1,078 of 1576, thrown for 14,482 yards and has 182 touchdowns, with 39 interceptions. He also has a total of 943 rushing yards, with 10 touchdowns.

Whether Huston’s football career will continue after high school still remains uncertain, but Huston is turning heads with his impressive stats.

Looking at NFHS, here are a few other impressive individual records that stand out.
