Georgia's Mecole Hardman Jr. earns National Team College Player of the Week honors

It was a winning week for U.S. National Team alums in college football. Find out how other National Team alums fared. 

Mecole Hardman Jr., Georgia wide receiver 

Hardman played on the 2016 U.S. Under-19 National Team and has earned U.S. National Team College Player of the Week.

The Bulldogs defeated Missouri on Saturday, 53-28.

Hardman had two receptions for 71 yards and one touchdown and rushed 35 yards for a touchdown on the Bulldogs’ first offensive possession.

Georgia teammate and U.S. National Team alum D'Andre Swift also had a great game for the Bulldogs.

Swift played on the 2017 U-19 National Team.

During Saturday's game, Swift had six rushing attempts for 94 yards.

The Bulldogs enter a bye week but will be back in action Oct. 28 when they travel to Florida to take on the Gators.

Tyler Petite, University of Southern California tight end

Petite played on the 2015 U-19 National Team.

During USC’s 28-27 victory over Utah on Saturday, Petite had three receptions for 79 yards and two touchdowns. 

Petite's longest run of the game came on the opening drive with a 52-yard touchdown from quarterback Sam Darnold.

Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin running back

Taylor played on the 2017 U-19 National Team.

The true freshman continues to be a breakout player for Wisconsin.

Saturday, he helped lead the Badgers to a 17-9 victory over Purdue.

Taylor had 30 rushing attempts for 219 yards for one touchdown and one reception for 17 yards.

Trevor Morris, Rutgers linebacker

Morris played on the 2015 U-19 National Team.

Morris helped lead the Rutgers defense with nine tackles, including two solo tackles and seven assisted tackles. Rutgers defeated Illinois on Saturday, 35-24.
