Want to watch six of the best high school football teams in Florida and California play against each other live, but attending the game isn't an option? We have you covered!
Facebook is now live-streaming high school football games, on its watch platform.
Facebook is streaming 17 high school games throughout the rest of the current season. Three of those games will take place this weekend.
Facebook is joining the ring of ever-growing companies that are live-streaming sports. This became possible when they partnered with ASBN, a Denver-based sports media group.
The first game will feature St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), currently 8-1 and ranked 18th nationally by MaxPreps, facing Miramar, which also owns an 8-1 record. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Eastern Time. You can watch the game here, courtesy of the Miami Dolphins High School Live Facebook page:
Later Friday night, at 10 p.m. Eastern (7 p.m. Pacific), you can watch Orange (California) Lutheran (5-4) take on Santa Margarita (6-3), which MaxPreps ranks 15th nationally. Watch that game here:
