Registration now open for coaches and administrators

The fifth-annual USA Football National Conference will return to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, Jan. 26-28, for the second consecutive year.

The event is the nation’s largest annual gathering of high school and youth football administrators and coaches, uniting more than 1,000 participants for three days of professional and program development during the NFL’s Pro Bowl week.

Speakers will include Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees Cris Carter and Mike Singletary, Arkansas head coach Chad Morris, Villanova University Director of Athletics Mark Jackson, National High School Hall of Fame coach Chuck Kyle of Cleveland St. Ignatius H.S. and four-time state champion coach Jason Mohns of Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro H.S.

A member of the U.S. Olympic Committee and the sport’s national governing body, USA Football trains more high school and youth coaches combined than any organization in the United States. Its annual National Conference is an education and networking opportunity for administrators and coaches to gain insight on best practices, innovation, game planning and strategy and smarter play. In 2017, the conference drew leaders from across the sport, including international guests from Canada, Kenya, Nigeria and Panama.

“Football stands on innovation and perpetual learning, which comprise the heart of our National Conference,” USA Football CEO and Executive Director Scott Hallenbeck said. “Orlando is an extraordinary host for the football family and we look forward to exciting, expert-driven insight that will be gained there in January as leaders in our sport gather to advance football together.”

A couple of testimonials from past attendees:

"The conference was outstanding, not only from an X's and O’s perspective, but also for the networking and program topics. I was so impressed with the professionalism of the USA Football staff, the organization of the clinic and the quality of coaches who attended." - Kirk Thor, head football coach, boys athletic coordinator, Mansfield Lake Ridge H.S. (Texas)

"I would like to thank USA Football for an amazing conference. I thoroughly took advantage of all the classes and came away energized. It was good to get affirmation of things I have been thinking and feeling for a long time regarding the game and working with our youth!" - Mike McCulloch, president, Ukiah Lions Youth Football and Cheer (California)
