From now through kickoff at USA Football's 2018 National Conference at Pro Bowl, we will take a look at some of the notable speakers and sessions on the docket for one of the country’s largest gatherings of high school football coaches.

Name: Cris Carter

Current role: Fox Sports football analyst

Session date, time: Carter will speak as part of the National Conference keynote address, which will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018.

His background: Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver (inducted 2013) who played for the Philadelphia Eagles (1987-1989), Minnesota Vikings (1990-2001) and Miami Dolphins (2002); one of 14 players in NFL history with 1,000 or more receptions (1,101); he recorded eight straight 1,000-yard seasons, and his 130 career touchdowns and 1,101 career receiving yards ranked second in NFL history when he retired in 2002; he had 42 100-yard games and was selected to eight straight Pro Bowls (1994-2011). Since retirement, he has worked as an NFL analyst for HBO, ESPN, Yahoo Sports and Fox, where he currently works.
