Bio

After a standout career at Lakewood High School (St. Petersburg, Florida), Wynn played in 11 games during his freshman year at Georgia, including one start, and was locked into the starting lineup in his final three seasons. Wynn earned one of the team's Most Improved Player awards as a sophomore, and was a first team All-Southeastern Conference selection and second team All-America as a senior. While he'll likely play guard in the NFL, his experience at left tackle makes him even more valuable and he could possibly play center.

While a recent shoulder injury kept Wynn out of drills at the NFL Combine, he spoke of his time with the U-19 National Team:

5 Questions at the NFL Combine

Q: What's it like being at the Combine?

A: It's enjoyable ... busy, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's good.

Q: How proud are you of what you guys were able to do offensively last season at Georgia, and that two Georgia running backs (Sony Michel and Nick Chubb) are also high on draft boards?

A: It was a good feeling knowing they're hitting what their goals may be as far as rushing yards and getting national publicity. I take a lot of pride in that and it was great being a part of that, because without me and the rest of the offensive line, they wouldn't have gotten that.

Q: What have you learned about what it takes to play guard in the NFL, and how does it suit your abilities?

A: Nowadays you get more of the quicker guys who aren't just powerful, they can move. They're looking for guards who are more athletic.

Q: Playing left tackle with the speed of SEC defensive ends is no easy task. How did you succeed there?

A: Just through practice. Being at Georgia, I faced the quickest guys at practice, so from spring all the way through fall camp, I was going against the best of the best pass rushers.

Q: What was your most dominant performance in college?

A: Probably Alabama (in the National Championship Game). Late in the season, my play actually got better. A lot of the time, there's a real toll on your body, but I shined better at the end of the season.
