Game 3: U-15 Stars 18, U-15 Stripes 15

The Woodlands, Texas resident Caden Miller's 37-yard field goal as time expired game the Stars the victory, after the Stripes had rallied for a late tie to overcome a 15-0 deficit.

The Stripes tied the game after a 2-yard Rodney Talton run and a 49-yard Braden Lynch TD reception. The latter came with 4:46 to play, and Esteban Soto's two-point conversion run knotted the score at 15-15.

Lynch (three catches, 94 yards, TD), from Claremont, California, and Stars quarterback Cade Klubnik (11 of 16, 175 yards, TD), from West Lake Hills, Texas, claimed Game MVP honors for their respective teams.

The Stars' Noah Naidoo broke loose for a 53-yard touchdown run with 3:18 remaining in the third quarter to extend their lead over the Stripes.

Defensive leaders in the game included the Stars' Daniel Norocea (four tackles and a sack), and the Stripes' Dawson McCurry (four tackles). Calder Bray had two of the Stars' five sacks.

Klubnik found Blair Schonhorst wide open for a 49-yard touchdown pass on a fourth-and-5 play with 7:12 remaining in the first half.
