Last Tuesday, the Indianapolis Colts hosted their Skills and Drills Football Camp that aimed to teach football fundamentals to players and parents alike.
Roughly 200 local youth football players and their parents made their way to the Colts practice facility, where they participated in light drills, had the chance to get properly fitted for equipment by a Riddell representative and had an opportunity to ask questions to current and former Colts players.
Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett and linebacker Erik Walden represented the Colts, leading the drills and answering questions from the crowd.
The chance to learn about the game and interact with present and former Colts was an experience that the kids seemed to cherish.
"It's really, really fun, said camp returnee Maely Gaskin, one of the young players in attendance, told WISH-TV. "You get to meet a couple people who were famous when they played, and you learn new stuff every single time."
