As part of its field building initiative and grant program, USA Football has partnered with Musco Lighting, a privately-owned company that specializes in the design of sports lighting systems.

"We’re pleased to partner with Musco Lighting to assist our field building initiative that brings the excitement and power of football to communities around the country,” said USA Football CEO Scott Hallenbeck. “These grants create new opportunities for football communities and help ensure a safer, more enjoyable experience for players.”

Last month, Musco awarded six $20,000 field building grants to help create new and more affordable opportunities for communities building football fields. Musco’s Total Light Control-TLC for LED technology delivers high-end lighting while still preserving darkness in the surrounding neighborhood.

Musco awarded the following organizations/schools a $20,000 field building grant:

  • Centre Region Parks and Recreation Authority – State College, Pa.
  • Wayne Community Schools – Wayne, Neb.
  • Smithfield Pop Warner – Carrollton, Va.
  • Lakeville South Football Association – Lakeville, Minn.
  • St. James Academy – Lenexa Kan.
  • Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart – Madison, Wisc.

Through these grants, USA Football brings higher-quality, durable football fields to the communities that need them most and helps to create a better, safer game for football-playing athletes. While the grant application has closed for this year, we encourage you to sign up here to receive email notifications for USA Football’s Grant Program next year.
