With 221 wins and ten state titles on his resume, Coach Rick Streiff certainly figured out the formula to building a winning program. As the former head football coach at Cathedral High School (Ind.), Coach Streiff enjoyed 23 seasons of success with the Fighting Irish. Although he has retired, Coach Streiff still stays close to the sidelines in his current role as Cathedral’s athletic director. On USA Football’s “Inside the Program” series, we sat down with Coach Streiff to learn about the importance of having an organized offseason development program. In particular, we dive into the offseason schedule, team conditioning, weight lifting and scheme installation.
