Yesterday during National Signing Day, 2020 U.S. National Team athletes that participated in International Bowl XI signed letters of intent to continue their playing careers in college.
Forty-one of the players on the Under-19 National Team, which beat Team Panama 67-0 at January’s International Bowl XI inside AT&T Stadium, signed with programs next fall, while the remaining four are expected to sign by April 1.
Additionally, members of the Under-18 National Team, which defeated Team Canada 29-14 at International Bowl and the Under-18 Select Team, which beat Team Queretaro (Mexico) at International Bowl X, signed today.
“The greatest moment for the U.S. National Team and its staff each year is to see the dozens of athletes that will continue their journey onto Saturdays both on and off the field,” said Aaron Ingram, senior manager of U.S. National Teams for USA Football. “The wins and losses always teach us lessons, but it’s the commitment to education and moving on that we love. Again in 2020, there is a huge sense of pride and accomplishment for the Class of 2020 U.S. National Team Alumni.”
