The Hendersonville Titans Youth Football club has earned Gold Level status through USA Football’s  League Excellence Program for the 2021 season.

USA Football’s League Excellence Program is a way for youth football organizations to earn recognition for a commitment to raise operational standards and provide a great environment for athletes and their families. 

The Titans continue to set a high bar for themselves and clubs around the country for youth football. Between their two seasons in the fall and spring the club has had over 1,100 players spanning ages 5-12. Chris Ginn, the Director of Tackle Football with Hendersonville, has helped garner the respect of their peers. Ginn in his 5th season has continued to grow the game of youth football.

“I’m blessed to be self-employed so that I can put the work in for the kids and our community.” Ginn said. 

That high bar set by the Titans comes from an organizational goal to provide skill development and player safety for their athletes. 

“For us, player safety is our first priority.” Ginn added. “We follow USA football guidelines and invest in making sure our kids are learning how to play football the right way.” 

Along with a commitment to following USA Football guidelines and practices, the club has committed to investing in safe equipment for their players. The club also takes responsibility in making sure that their coaches are fully certified. 

“We accept no gray area for coach certification.” Ginn said. “We require all of our coaches to complete USA certification as well as complete a very diligent interview process.”

Through these measures, the Titans make their community a top priority. 

“Being involved in our community is so important to our organization and shows exactly what we are about.” Ginn said.

From giving the kids an opportunity to play a game on the Tennessee Titans field through a partnership, to providing affordable opportunities to play the game we all love. The Hendersonville Titans have a great grasp on what youth football is all about.
