For the second-consecutive year, USA Football will host Blitz events nationwide in 2022 for youth football families, coaches and league leaders.

This year’s schedule advances elevated standards to teach and play youth football, celebrating the fun, excitement and fitness of one of America’s most-played youth sports. Hosted by USA Football in collaboration with NFL teams, Blitz events are free of charge.

USA Football’s 2022 Blitz schedule will ultimately span more than one dozen U.S. cities and kicked off on March 5 in Glendale, Ariz. at State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals. The series of weekend events conclude by summer’s end.

Free registration for USA Football’s 2022 Blitz events is open now and available here.

Blitz events draw thousands of youth football families, coaches and league administrators from leading youth sports and youth football-specific programs. Each Blitz features an exciting Fan Fest area, including:

  • Fun youth flag clinics
  • USA Football giveaways
  • 40-yard dash and obstacle course
  • Football-themed inflatables
  • Tailgate yard games
  • Photo booth, DJ, music, face painting and food trucks

Blitz events may also feature in-person USA Football youth coach certification. Accredited by the U.S. Center for Coaching Excellence, USA Football’s certification addresses topics to help coaches become better teachers and deliver safer, 21st-century football experiences to their teams. These sessions include foundations of quality coaching as outlined in USA Football’s Football Development Model; transformational coaching; abuse prevention; athlete health and safety; and principles of contact which includes equipment fitting, levels of contact, and tackling, blocking and block-defeat principles.
