USA Football is offering a special opportunity to save by joining the non-profit’s membership program to receive up to 14 months of membership benefits for the price of 12 months. By purchasing a membership with USA Football before the end of 2023, athletes, coaches or commissioners lock in their pricing for 2024 and don’t have to renew their membership until January of 2025.  

Announced in 2023, USA Football’s membership program unites the football community by delivering best-in-class resources, standards and experiences through America’s favorite sport. The program presents coaches, league leaders and athletes with a chance to take their love for the game to a new level with a combination of exclusive opportunities, access, tools and resources. 

Beginning in 2024, athlete membership is required to participate in sanctioned tournaments on the road to The One, an elite national flag football championship hosted by USA Football. Parents or guardians may purchase and manage a membership for their children if they are under 18 and wish to participate in USA Football’s sanctioned tournaments and access other benefits.  

All athletes that wish to compete for the U.S. National Team must be USA Football members. Non-members may be evaluated but are not eligible to receive invitations to Trials until they become members. 

The other benefits of an athlete membership include the peace of mind delivered by comprehensive accident insurance coverage provided through SportsLine Insurance and access to Community, an online platform offering education, networking and a way to stay informed about USA Football news. Community helps individuals meet, coordinate with and learn from other commissioners, coaches and athletes. 

Coach and commissioner members access USA Football’s best-in-class online flag or tackle Youth Coach Certification program. USA Football’s certification is the only youth football certification accredited by the United States Center for Coaching Excellence (USCCE). 

Coaches and commissioners also gain access to Community and accident insurance coverage provided through SportsLine Insurance.  

Additional resources and benefits accessed through membership for coaches and league leaders include USA Football’s Youth Tackling & Contact System, a 50% discount on premium systems, full access to the Coach Planner App and access to the library of recorded webinars and virtual engagements.  

Athlete and Coach & Commissioner members will have access to USA Football partners, including resources and potential discounts.

The current cost for an athlete membership is just $30, and the coach and commissioner membership is $40. Individuals who purchase membership before the start of 2024 will lock in their pricing for the year and won’t have their plans renew until January of 2025. Membership renews annually in January of the new year.
