A district championship is on the line in Miami, as MaxPreps nationally ranked team No. 10 Central will face No. 19 Northwestern.

Central coach Roland Smith told USA Today High School Sports  “Any time you play the top team in your district, you want to be able to control your own destiny in the playoffs.”

Central and Northwestern have only lost one game this season. Both teams fell to IMG Academy (Bradenton), MaxPreps second-ranked team in the nation.
