Carolina Panthers’ Devin Funchess claims National Team honors

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Devin Funchess is getting more playing time since former teammate Kelvin Benjamin’s trade to the Buffalo Bills, and Funchess is making the most of it. 

Funchess, 2012 U.S. National Team alum, helped the Panthers defeat the Miami Dolphins 45-21 on Monday night.

Funchess had five receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns during Monday night’s game, helping him earn this week's U.S. National Team Alumni NFL Player of the Week honor, presented by Upper Deck.

However, Funchess wasn't the only National Team alum who performed well during Week 10 in the NFL. Let's check out how a few other National Team alums fared.

Dolphins wide receiver and Nationals Team alums also gets a TD during Monday night's game.

Jarvis Landry played on the 2011 U-19 National Team.

Even though the Dolphins fell to the Panthers, Landry had five receptions for 42 yards and one touchdown.

The Dolphins are currently 4-5.

Gurley helps Rams build four-game win streak

The Los Angeles Rams improved to 7-2 and are on a four-game win streak after defeating the Houston Texans 33-7 on Sunday.

Rams running back Todd Gurley was last week's U.S. National Team Alumni NFL Player of the Week.

During Sunday's game, Gurley recorded 11 rushing attempts for 68 yards and 6 receptions for 68 yards.

The Rams still sit atop the NFC West. 

Mathieu, Cardinals fall to NFC West foe.

While the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals 22-16 on Thursday, Cardinals safety and 2010 National Team alum Tyrann Mathieu and record six tackles (five total tackles and one assisted tackle).

Tuitt, Steelers improve to 7-2 with road win

The Steelers defeated the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, 20-17.

Stephon Tuitt, defensive end for the Steelers and 2011 U-19 National Team alum, had three tackles and one sack during Sunday’s game.

The Steelers lead the AFC North and will face off against the AFC South lead, Tennessee Titans on Thursday night.
