USA Football National Conference Speaker Series: Jim McNally

From now through kickoff at USA Football's 2018 National Conference at Pro Bowl, we will take a look at some of the notable speakers and sessions on the docket for one of the country’s largest gatherings of high school football coaches.

Name: Jim McNally

Session, date, time: Fundamentals of Pass Protection, 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27

His background: McNally coached for 28 seasons in the NFL and college, including stops with the Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants and Buffalo Bills. He coached Pro Football Hall of Fame offensive tackle Anthony Munoz during his time in Cincinnati, during which the Bengals played in two Super Bowls (1982 and 1989). The Giants also played in the Super Bowl (2001) during his time there (1999-2003).

After a four-year college football career at the University of Buffalo, which earned him a place in the school’s Hall of Fame, McNally coached the Bulls for five seasons. He also coached at Marshall, Boston College and Wake Forest before making the move to the NFL.
