USA Football’s FUNdamentals program is now underway for 2018, delivering more than 200 fun and free non-contact football clinics across 31 states for more than 35,000 children.

FUNdamentals clinics are designed to introduce boys and girls to the fun of football and advance their physical literacy through the sport’s basic skills and movements in an exciting, high-activity format. Parents may register for clinics in their area by clicking here. Clinics are hosted by current or former NFL coaches and players who employ USA Football’s FUNdamentals curriculum at each event.

FUNdamentals events are supported through a grant from the NFL Foundation and hosted by current and former NFL players and coaches, including Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr, Atlanta Falcons linebacker Vic Beasley, Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker, and Los Angeles Rams running back and 2012 U.S. National Team alum Todd Gurley, among others.

Here's a look at Gurley's FUNdamentals clinic in April, where National Team teammate and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston also worked with players:

Clinicians at each event use a series of age-appropriate drills to teach passing, catching and running skills in a non-contact setting in alignment with USA Football’s adaptation of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s American Development Model

“A healthy, active childhood places our kids on a lifelong path for wellness and exercise,” USA Football Managing Director of Football Operations Keith Martin said. “Our FUNdamentals clinics help boys and girls set that foundation through the fun of football, developing motor skills that can help them excel in football and other sports they love to play.”
