
It was a winning weekend for some of our U.S. National Team alums and their teams during college football’s rivalry week. Let’s see who stood out, and which alum earned player of the week honors.
Justin Jackson helps lead Northwestern to seventh straight win
Northwestern topped Illinois 42-7 for its seventh consecutive victory of the season and maintained possession of the Land of Lincoln Trophy. The Wildcats are currently No. 21 in the college football rankings.
A 2014 U-19 National Team alum, Jackson earned this week's U.S. National Team College Player of the Week honors with 18 carries for 144 yards and a touchdown, along with three receptions for 13 yards.

After Saturday performance, Jackson moved up to fourth all-time in Big Ten Conference history with 5,283 rushing yards.

N’Keal Harry’s two scores help Sun Devils clinch Territorial Cup
Harry, who was on the 2016 U-19 National Team, helped lead Arizona State to a 42-30 win over rival Arizona. He finished with four receptions for 43 yards and two TDs.

Redshirt freshman Dwayne Haskins Jr. steps up for No. 9 Ohio State
When Ohio State starting quarterback J.T. Barrett went down with an injury in the third quarter against Michigan, Haskins took over.
Haskins, a 2016 U-19 National Team alum, proved ready during the Buckeyes’ 31-20 triumph, going 6-of-7 for 94 yards, to go with three rushing attempts for 24 yards.

Freshman Jalen Reagor helps TCU clinch a spot in Big 12 championship
Reagor, who was on the U.S. U-19 National Team in 2017, had four catches for 39 yards and one TD in the Horned Frogs’ 45-22 win over Baylor.
No. 11 TCU will face No. 3 Oklahoma in Big 12 title game Saturday.

Now looking to the NFL, let's see how some U.S. National Team alums fared in Week 12, and who earned player of the week recognition.
Tyrann Mathieu, Arizona Cardinals
Mathieu, a member of the 2010 National Team, had four solo tackles, three pass deflections and one interception in his team’s 27-24 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
His performance earned him USA Football NFL Player of the Week, presented by Upper Deck.

Devin Funchess, Carolina Panthers
Funchess, a wide receiver on the 2012 National Team, had seven catches for 108 yards in the Panthers’ 35-27 win over the New York Jets.

Todd Gurley II, Los Angeles Rams
The L.A. Rams currently lead the NFC West with an 8-3 record, and Gurley shined in their 26-20 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Gurley, a member of the 2012 U-19 National Team, had 17 carries for 74 yards, and four receptions for 54 yards.

Samaje Perine, Washington Redskins
Perine, who played for the U.S. National Team in 2014, had 24 rushes for 100 yards, along with three receptions for 30 yards, in the Redskins’ 20-10 Thanksgiving victory over the New York Giants.
