I was thrilled when I was able to connect with the former Naval Commander and author. Mike’s book, "It’s Your Ship," was instrumental in my development of a coaching philosophy and the culture I built into my teams and units. Mike empowered his people to take an underperforming ship to the best in the Navy. We talk about that process of his leadership in building a culture of learning and high performers.
