From now through kickoff at USA Football's 2018 National Conference at Pro Bowl, we will take a look at some of the notable speakers and sessions on the docket for one of the country’s largest gatherings of high school football coaches.

Name: Trent Dilfer

His background: Dilfer is a former NFL quarterback, having played for five teams throughout his 13-season career. Dilfer is probably best known for leading the Baltimore Ravens to a championship season in 2000, beating the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV. Post-retirement, he made a name for himself as ESPN broadcaster and coined the term “turned a stinky sandwich into an ice cream cone,” meaning a player turned a negative play into a positive one. Dilfer served as a broadcaster for more than 10 years.
