From now through kickoff at USA Football's 2018 National Conference at Pro Bowl, we will take a look at some of the notable speakers and sessions on the docket for one of the country’s largest gatherings of high school football coaches.

Name: Mike Kirschner

His background: Kirschner was named head coach at Mount Vernon (Fortville, Indiana) High School on Jan. 18 after a 17-year run at Ben Davis (Indianapolis). While he coached at Ben Davis, he compiled a 95-36 record and led the team to five state championships. He's also held head coaching positions for football, softball, track, and basketball at various other schools. He and his wife Terry have three children who have all gone on to become teachers and/or coaches themselves.
