With star running back D.J. Stewart, a North Dakota State commit, returning after a 1,200-yard season, the Appleton-area power was able to tack on another 14 wins to its streak in 2017.

Las Vegas power Bishop Gorman, which entered the season with a 54-game winning streak, had its streak end at 55; however, it still owns the longest streak in Nevada at 12.

The longest winning streak of all time belongs to De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) which managed a 151-game streak spanning more than a decade.
